Chocolate pear pudding

I'm posting this recipe on behalf of Nicki who recently served it to us for dinner. It was very delicious and well worth trying.

I'd like to try it myself but family members might know that I recently had several attempts at Nigella's Beginners' Chocolate Cake which is also whizzed in the blender. Each attempt was worse than the last until I gave up and tossed the recipe. Nicki didn't have any problem though... the blender maybe?
